Aviation Event

aveveAviation enthusiasts in the Mid-Atlantic region interested in attending air shows, fly-ins and other aviation events now have a new tool at their disposal. WunderWebs.com, the premier website, blog design, and marketing community, has launched a new, community-driven events listing and calendar based website. The design features an interactive events calendar for aviation related activities, a community blog, social networking and email sign-ups for newsletters.

Networked to Facebook, Twitter and Google+, not only are users able to view and add local aviation events they are interested in attending, AviationEvent.com also fosters a stronger local aviation community, as an additional blogging functionality makes it easier to connect with and discuss events with fellow enthusiasts.

“With the variety of aviation events in our area, it is hard to keep up.” says Daniel Miller, President of EAA Chapter 186 based at the Manassas Regional Airport. “We needed a collaborative and user-generated tool for that. This new website is going to fill that need nicely!”

Events listing and calendar functions on the site have been designed by WunderWebs to meet the local community’s need to stay connected and participate in aviation happenings, including large air shows, airport open-houses, fly-ins, B-17 and B-29 tours, as well as more personal events such as EAA Young Eagles Rallies.

“This design was created specifically for the local aviation community,” says Sandra Miller-Long. “Packed with high-quality photos, news, and a calendar that will be constantly updated, the website will help publicize events and make them accessible to a larger audience.”
