Frank C.Zalewski

True. Yet, while Clarence could not have been the father of Frank C., it is possible that Frank C. was actually the son of the real Clare Slim Zalewski and had possession of his father’s album during the war.

I don’t recall for certain, but I believe I have seen the family tree for Frank C. Zalewski, and I don’t believe his father’s name was Clare.

And I am beginning to wonder more and more why Slim (Clare, Clarence or Frank) would have brought this huge album into the war to carry around. Also, the absence of any photos of battle coverage leads me to think that the photographer may have died earlier in the war effort.

Karen, are there blank pages in the back of the album for more photos? If so, then it would likely have been an ongoing project and not a finished  product.
